Photovoltaic Installations

SRE Technologies Ltd have developed skills in PV Design & Installation ranging from small 1kWp domestic installs to 18kWp (100 panels) in the public sector. The company has worked with principle contractors Kier Homes PLC, ISG PLC, and David Wilson Homes. A recent HA (Housing Association) new development was completed with 34 roof mounted installations.

Dual Axis Trackers

Early 2011 saw the company become a fully accredited partner with Sonnen_Systeme a German manufacturing company of Dual Axis Trackers. These high-precision tracking systems enable stable and reliable solar power output that outstrips that of fixed installations by up to 45%. This efficiency is increased even more through multi-use: the space beneath the solar power systems can also be used to grow crops, for parking, for rearing livestock or to create a natural habitat.

Wind Turbines

Wind turbines are our other specialty. SRE Technologies Ltd was the first company in Europe to install a 15kW turbine on a 25m tower.

Turbine installations range from Schools & Colleges to Agriculture and private landowners. We install mainly ground mounted turbines but have in the past installed building mounted (roof) systems. The company conducts all its own engineering processes from Civil (foundations), to Electrical.
